Thank you for interesting in our Japanese style share-house in Kyoto. 

I'm Erika, a Japanese teacher and two kids mom living in Kyoto.

I’d love to host you and show you the real Kyoto!

I'll treat you as one of my family members. Please feel like your mother or sister in Kyoto!

 

You’ll love my share house - not only will you be in the best city, you’ll be in the best part of town!

Quiet and safety living area but it is walkable distance to Gion area where you feel real Kyoto.

Arrival day Offers

We'd like to make your stay comfortably in this new city. We offer these on arrival day or next day of your arrival.

 

  • On arrival day I will pick you up at the Kyoto station.

  • I will introduce the area of you live for example supermarkets, bank, post office.

  • I will show you around and Kyoto Central area.

  • I will tell you how to get on and off the bus and train.

  • If you don't know how to get to school, I will advise you how to get there.

Visa Address Registration

Student visa holders and Working Holiday visa holders.    

 

You can use our address to register your visa's!  ​ 

 

I'll go to the Kyoto Higashiyama city council together.

 

I will help you to register your address.

When you are sick

When you got a sick, I will take you to hospital and treat you like one of our family. 

We understand it's really hard for a guest to find a nice hospital in new city. 

Our recomanded doctors can speak English and understand oversea's cultures more than others.

 

The hospital is located on just 10 mins walking form the house.

To Open bank account

To open the bank account in Japan, you need to prepare the Japanese stamp first.  ​ 

 

I'll take you to the traditional stamp shop!  ​ 

And we'll go to the bank together.  ​ 

 

*Only long stay visa holders can open a bank account in Japan.

To Enjoy Daily Life

We'll try our best to support you to get familiar with Japanese daily life in Kyoto.

  • Japanese study help if you need. I'd like to help your Japanese skill up.

  • Lunch or dinner together. I will let you know the nice restaurants!

  • Once a month activity! I will show you around Kyoto!

  • Where to buy a cheap train ticket or some daily useful information. :-)

Let enjoy Japanese culture together!!

You can learn how to wear Kimono, Japanese cooking and Japanese Chirography!
