Higashiyama Area(Street 7)
When you'd like to feel relax, only 10 mins walking you can reach 3 huge temples, Tofukuji, Chisyakuin-the top of buddizum in Japan-, Sensyuji. Each seasons there are different nature flowers and beautiful Zen garden. Of course beautiful cherry blossom and Autumn red leaves.
Also Kamo River will make you to feel relax... only 10 mins walking you can see a Nanajo Kamo River. Please walk along the Kamogawa river, it's a nice and peacful place to talk about anything you like with friends. A lot of Japanese young couples like to sit down beside the river and talk a lot in Spring and Autum.
Kiyomizu temple (Street 5)
In Kiyomizu area(Gojo, street 5), historically it is famous Pottery art spots. You can buy only one dish for yourself or try to make it. Only 20 mins walking. Keep waking 10 mins to Kiyomizu temple.
Gion Area (Street 4)
We recommend to go to Gion area(Sijo, street 4). - Expensive Japanese restaurants, Geisya, Kabuki, Stone streets, small river and so many shops!!- Only 10 mins by bus or walk 25 mins from the house.
In Sijo Kawaramachi, main business and fashion area- 40 mins walking or take a 207 bus. The bus stop is only 3 mins walking from the house! Japanese people works hard so fluent buses, no worries.
Sanjyu Sangendo (Street 7)
10 mins walking, you can touch the history, there are the thousands Buddhism statue at the Sanjyu sangendo temple where has built over 900 years ago.
Back of this temple, there is our favorite hospital and the doctor who can speak English! So if you were sick I will take you to it. You can see the temple.
Kyoto Station Area (Street 7)
Only 20 mins walking from the house, you can go to JR Kyoto station.
Big Camera, Yodobashi Camera, JR Isetan department, Porta shopping streets, hotels, restaurants and so many big stores on this area.
