Thank you for interesting in our Japanese style share-house in Kyoto.
I'm a Japanese teacher and three kids mom living in Kyoto.
I’d love to host you and show you the real Kyoto! I'll treat you as one of my family members.
You’ll love the Sakura House - not only will you be in the best city, you’ll be in the best part of town!
Quiet and safety living area but it is walk-able distance to World heritage site Byodo-in Temple area and Uji river. Love nature and city.

Arrival Day Support
We'd like to make your stay comfortably in this new city.

On arrival day I will pick you up at the JR Uji station.

Introduce the area of you live for example supermarkets, bank, post office.

Show you around and Kyoto Uji area when we meet the time.

Tell you how to get on and off the bus and train.

If you don't know how to get to school, I will advise you how to get there.
When you are sick
When you got a sick, I will take you to hospital and treat you like one of our family.
We understand it's really hard for a guest to find a nice hospital in new city.
Most hospitals are located on just 10 mins walking form the Sakura house.
*Japanese medical system is different from your country. We don't have general practice or home doctor.

We'd like to make you to get familiar with Japanese daily life in Kyoto.

Open a bank account
To open the bank account in Japan, you need to have long stay visa. (For example working holiday or student or work)
If you are sightseeing visa holder, you are not able to open the account in japan.
1. prepare the Japanese stamp first.
2. go to the bank together.
*Only long stay visa holders can open a bank account in Japan.
